Spiced Matcha Latte

On its own, a matcha latte already offers a comforting cupful of earthy flavor and warmth. To add even more coziness and depth to your next latte, try spicing things up with this combination of cinnamon, cardamom, maple, and more. Or, try it iced on a warm summer's day.

Spiced Matcha Latte

Cook time: 5 min

Ingredients

  • 12 oz almond milk
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp matcha powder (or 2 tsp for iced)
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp ground cardamom
  • 1 tsp ghee
  • 1 tsp coconut oil

Directions

  1. On medium to low heat, steam almond milk. Stirring occasionally, as to not scald milk.
  2. Combine all ingredients in blender for 20-30 seconds. Pour into your favorite mug + top with dried rose petals and lavender buds, or sprinkle with cinnamon and matcha powder.
  3. Iced version: Combine all ingredients in blender for 20-30 seconds. Fill a glass with ice, pour over and enjoy.
Yields: One 12 oz latte
