Our signature pyramid-shaped ICON Au gold infuser, paired with one Onyx black Tea Tray, is the ultimate way to steep loose tea again and again. Non-reactive 23k plated gold preserves the varied and unique characteristics of fine tea. To use, simply remove silicone base, fill with 1 teaspoon of loose leaf tea, replace base and steep. When finished, rest the infuser on the accompanying ceramic tea tray to catch the drips.

Unfortunately, form does NOT follow then function.

The good: The infuser is visually stunning and the laser-cut holes are perfectly sized for allowing excellent flow, while keeping all the content inside. The bad: The metal folds on the bottom of the pyramid are not welded, causing wet leaves to get stock between two metal layers. The pyramid side is spot welded in only 3-4 spots. The top has a long opening on the welded side, that keeps catching the steel cable. At the same time the opening on top is too small to facilitate proper cleaning of the infuser. Overall, I can't recommend it to anyone planning to actually use it. Makes for a great display piece. If you need a good infuser - get something else.

Great infuser, really sturdy and simple to use, it fits well in most cups and has alot of room for tea so is possible to make several cups of tea. The only reason why I didn’t give max stars is because the cap of the infuser is not as easy to take off and put on.

Very pretty!!

The gold infuser is just so pretty and it matchess the black plate perfectly!! The infuser does not fit inside of my Tea Forte Solstice tea pot so it is larger than the opening to the teapot, but it fits nicely in my tea cup like it should. I would recommend this!

Don’t waste your money

Bad design. Very difficult to remove the runner bottom each time you need to refill it. The black “leaf” on top barely fits into the tea cup lid. It’s not practical for everyday use.

I like using the infuser except for the little particles of tea leaves that float out. I find the silicone stopper at the bottom is a little tough to get off but overall it's a nice infuser.
