The Tea Forte Lotus collection was not just good, it was so divine that it made me turn my back on my beloved coffee beans and converted me on the spot with its silken pyramid infusers. I am ashamed to say I grew up on Lipton. Worked my way up to Celestial Seasonings during my college years (Sleepytime, anyone?), and later moved on to Twinings, then Teavana. But Tea Forte is like someone finally allowed me to walk through a hidden door into another dimension of Tea that the Gods must selfishly brew in secret with a pact that they would keep it strictly to themselves all these years. I have seen the Tea Forte Light, and I'm never going back.
All of these teas are favorites. The Darjeeling quince is not one I would have selected on my own, but I’m so glad I tried it as part of this selection. The lemon lavender is getting me through long days of work followed by night class. Tip: don’t steep the orange jasmine for too long, about 3 minutes is plenty. Longer than that and it gets a little bitter.
This was a gift.
