About Ginger Lemongrass

Tea Type : Herbal Tea

Smooth and lemony, Lemongrass Ginger may be our most soothing blend. With the natural sweetness of Lemongrass further sweetening is not necessary for most people, though honey works very well.

Ginger and lemongrass are legacy herbs often combined to brew tea for their possible health benefits and anti-inflammatory properties. Considered by holistic practitioners to be Medicinal Food, many tout the benefits of lemongrass for its antioxidants. Antioxidants work by eliminating free radicals in the body, and consuming antioxidant-rich foods and herbs regularly is believed to lower the risk of developing several chronic diseases. Studies have also found that ginger has a very high antioxidant content compared with other plants and may benefit the body with flu-fighting health benefits - proven in both Western and Chinese medicine.

    Fabulous pick me up

I’ve been making this in my little tiny kettle 3 to 4 cups at a time and it’s just what I need during the Lull of the afternoon to pick me up.

    Great Combination

I enjoy the tea very much. Great taste; I love ginger, lemongrass, citrus and mint, have not find these combination in the stores. Balance taste, can taste all the ingredients in harmony. So finding this tea through Tea Forte is great. I enjoy the tea after dinner, especially now is still cool at night, bring a little warm after drinking the tea. It will be my new favorite from now on. Also love the tin which has tight lid to keep the tea stay fragrance.

This is one of the best teas I’ve ever tasted. I sweeten it with honey and add a bit of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
