Make iced tea with your favorite loose leaf tea directly at the table. The purist design of the Blomus Tea Jay Iced Tea Maker offers a visual highlight while steeping iced tea. Add ice into the glass carafe, as well as delicious fruits, fresh juice, water or sweet syrup to prepare the tea to your own tastes. A filter & tea reservoir are integrated into the stainless steel top.

How to use the Blomus Tea Jay: (Watch the Video)
    1. Unscrew the stainless steel top from the glass carafe.
    2. Fill the glass carafe 3/4 full with ice. Add any sweetener, fruit, herbs or other ingredients if desired.
    3. Replace stainless steel top and twist until tight & secure, making sure the black cap is on top. Grip the top of the cap and twist clockwise (right) until it is locked in place.
    4. To open the reservoir, grip the top of the cap and lift upwards.
    5. Add 3-4 teaspoons of your favorite loose leaf tea into the reservoir. Then add 8-9 ounces of hot water until nearly full. Replace cap and steep for the recommended amount of time, depending on the blend.
    6. When done steeping, grip the cap and turn counter-clockwise (left) to unlock the reservoir, releasing the hot tea into the glass carafe. This step of the preparation can be celebrated directly in front of guests, while the loose tea leaves in the reservoir can be disposed of later. Your iced tea is now ready to serve and enjoy.

    Lovely serving presentation

Anyone who is a true ice fan knows that seeing the iced tea in a glass container is part of the experience. And iced tea is best when it goes directly from hot onto the ice. I have a flash ice tea pitcher which is nice for bag teas. The Blomus allows me to use my loose teas. It is stylish enough to make for and serve to guests. Plus seeing the tea brew before your eyes adds to the flourish. Well worth the purchase.

    Awesome Iced Tea Maker!

The great thing about this iced tea maker is that I can use my loose tea! Gives you many more flavor choices. I also can brew the strength I want by adjusting the amount of loose tea. Thank you Tea Forté!

    Easiest Iced Tea

This is the most durable and easiest to use iced tea maker I have found. The glass is strong enough to handle both hot and cold without cracking like other iced tea pictures. A worthy investment.

    Fun to watch

I really enjoyed using this iced tea maker, the glass is thick and sturdy, and the tea filter is very fine. Watching the hot tea flow into the carafe is beautiful to watch while sitting around the table, people love that part. I used 4 teaspoons of Raspberry Nectar loose leaf tea, and put some raspberries and honey in with the ice (I wished I had lime slices and mint at the time, will try next time). It makes enough iced tea to share with one other person. Looking forward to using this more over the summer. My only complaint is there is no "locked" or "unlocked" icons on the reservoir cap. A visual would be helpful, as it needs to be "locked" before you add the water, and you must "unlock" it to let the hot tea flow over the ice. And the instruction booklet inside reminds me of IKEA, a little cumbersome and quirky, but the video is much better!
