After needing to decaffeinate for health reasons, I was skeptical that this tea would be as good as the Tea Forte English Breakfast tea I loved drinking. I'm pleased to report I was wrong! It's flavorful without the side effects of caffeine. I'm thankful that it's available.
I am an Earl Gray lover (and prefer Tea Forte's Earl Gray over any other) but sometimes, when I need to reduce my caffeine intake, I drink this tea. English Breakfast does not start my day the way Earl Gray does, but this is a really good decaf, robust, black tea and it is as good as the non-decaf version. I appreciate the method used to remove the caffeine from this tea as well. Tea Forte----have you considered a decaf Earl Gray?
I must say I was a little skeptical at first going with decaf. However I was pleasantly surprised at how good it truly is. I don't typically go for decaf because they don't taste good to me. This tea is full bodied and does not taste like decaf. I find myself wanting tea late in the afternoon or evening during the fall & winter months and caffeinated tea pwould keep me awake all nite. Thank you Tea FORTE for this wonderful tasting tea.
