About White Ambrosia

Tea Type : White Tea

Tea Forté White Ambrosia white tea is from the Fujian Province located on China’s southeast coast. This very rare white tea originates from the Great White tea bush which is only harvested in the spring during a very short time period. It is also known as “White Peony”, because of the similarity of its appearance to the petals of the peony flower. Unlike black and green tea, white tea is the least processed and therefore contains the smallest amount of caffeine. Enjoy this delicate cup of tea, high in antioxidants morning, noon or night.

Ingredients and certifications may differ slightly between our pyramid infusers and loose tea canisters for this blend, see package for details.

Steeping instructions

1. Heat water to 195˚F.
2. Place tea in cup and pour water over the leaves.
3. Steep for 2-4 minutes.
4. Enjoy!

For loose leaf iced teas, use 3 tsp per 8oz glass.

    Special and delicious!

Another one of Tea Forte's great teas! The taste of vanilla and coconut compliment a variety of desserts or can be a dessert by itself. Either choice is a delightful way to relax and enjoy a pleasant moment with this tea.

    universally tasty

I've been drinking this for years and serve to friends and family when they come over as it's pretty universal. It's lightly tropical, but not in a "sunscreen" or overly fruity way. It tastes like you are on vacation. I've "over-brewed" this before and it doesn't seem to get bitter like some white or green teas. However, to play it safe, most times i'll wet the leaves with cold filtered water and then add the hot water and that seems to prevent bitter brews.
