More Info

The least processed and rarest of all teas, white tea has the highest concentrations of polyphenols and is the most challenging to produce and procure. Once a year, in early spring when the buds and leaves are still closed and covered by fine silvery-white downy hairs, the leaves are delicately hand-plucked. They then undergo a meticulously monitored drying process where the tea is withered. Tea Forté works directly with these artisan- farmers who tender the delicate process to assure that the white tea that we offer yields an exquisitely subtle tea-drinking experience.

White tea is considered the purest of all teas. Plucked only a few days each spring when the Camellia sinensisplants are reemerging from winter dormancy, it is revered by tea connoisseurs for its delicate, fresh flavor.

Our white tea is one of the most highly-prized teas available, comprised of carefully plucked unopened buds and the younger leaves of the plant. The leaves arenaturally dried in the sun before they are lightly processed to prevent oxidation, keeping the leaves closer to their natural state, low in caffeine and high in antioxidants.

infuser infuser infuser infuser infuser Wasn't sure at first, but grew to love it

"Tupelo Honey Fig" is an interesting tea with a distinctive flavor - which comes as no surprise when you peruse its ingredients: lemon myrtle, peppermint, fennel, basil, licorice root, sweet blackberry leaves, honey, fig and white tea. It wasn't love at first sip and there was an interval between my first cup and my second, but I now drink it regularly. Love its unique flavors, especially in the morning hours.

infuser I wanted to Like it

The name of this tea sounded devine and i was really excited to try it. My tastebuds did not pick up on any fig or honey. The licorice root and fennel are the dominate flavors in this cup. This tea smells as bad as it tastes. Bummed.

infuser infuser infuser infuser infuser The perfect complex blend of the sublime

Tried as a sample and fell in love with this blend. This is not just a cup of tea this is an experience, much like tasting wine. Fig and honey notes taste as good as they smell. A definite reorder.

I loved this! There was no bitterness and it wasn't too sweet. I definitely will order this one again.

infuser infuser Awkward Blend of Flavors

The variety of flavors in this tea just don't come together well. I could taste very little honey or fig; the lemon myrtle, fennel and licorice were the most potent flavors to my tongue. There are so many contrasting ingredients in this blend that the final taste is rather muddled.
