Peach Jubilee Tea
Rooibos from South Africa

Did You Know?

Afrikaans for "red bush," rooibos comes from the plant Aspalathus Linearis, which grows only in the Cedarberg area of the Western Cape province of South Africa. Rooibos has been consumed by Bushmen as an herbal remedy for centuries, but rooibos as we know it is a relatively recent invention. Techniques for producing Keemun black tea were imported from China and applied to rooibos in the early 20th century. A difficult plant to grow, cultivation techniques for Aspalathus Linearis weren't mastered until the 1930s. Starting in the mid-20th century, rooibos consumption became very widespread in South Africa, spurred in part by beliefs that it can help with colic in babies. Generally consumed with milk and sugar in South Africa, rooibos has rapidly attained popularity in Europe and North America over the past decade or two, where it is often drunk without any additions.

infuser infuser infuser infuser Light Peach Flavor

This tea has a very soft peach flavor, with strong notes of cinnamon, orange and marigold. It's not quite what I was expecting from the description, but it's still a quite nice, modestly sweet tea.

infuser infuser It's not exactly what I was expecting...

I was very excited to try this tea after reading all the reviews but when I opened the bag it didn't smell like peaches to me. It had a very strong marigold smell and tastes like marigold. There was no peach flavor at all. I even tried putting honey AND sugar but it just wasn't for me. Too bad I really wanted to love this tea.

infuser infuser infuser infuser infuser Wonderful!

Just had my first cup of Peach Jubilee. I'm floating away on a peachy vanilla cloud of happiness. Very pleasant peach scent. The peach and creamy vanilla are the top notes, cinnamon and other spices more muted. Definitely recommend to the peach lovers out there.

infuser infuser infuser infuser infuser Wonderful iced!

This tea is fantastic hot, but what I like to do is use 2 silken infusers in the Tea Forte brewing pitcher for an extra-delicious iced tea. There's definitely a juicy peach flavor, but there are wonderful notes of cinnamon and other spices that really bring the iced version of this tea to new heights. I would buy this in tins but they don't offer them. Please consider this!!

infuser infuser infuser infuser infuser This peach is a keeper!

This has got to be one of the best peach teas I have ever had (and believe me, I have tried quite a few)! Its blend of flavors is a joy to sip; it's smooth yet has a good burst of flavor. Please, please, please bring it back into year-round circulation, at the very least in the loose-leaf tins. Thanks!

infuser infuser infuser infuser infuser peach with oomph!

This is not your boring supermarket peach tea! Overtones of cinnamon and cardamom give this tea a little kick that is nice. It is still a great bedtime tea with no caffeine, and still comforting -- I was just surprised with the first cup how much flavor they packed in there (typically peach teas I have tried in the past border on insipid). Nice!
