And whatever happened to the recipe has rendered it literally undrinkable. It smelled bad. It tasted bad. I got in touch with customer support and they're refunding my money and checking the batch to see if there was something wrong with it but they said they have changed the recipe. I don't know why when it was the best cup of Earl Grey tea I've ever tasted. Not any more :(
I love enjoying this tea with a bit of milk, which I would not usually add to a green tea, because it brings out a delicious creaminess that you normally only get with black teas. I have bought this flavor several times because I can't find another green blend like it.
I have to agree with other reviewers here - the old Bombay Chai was one of my favorites, but the new blend isn't as good. It used to have a nice aromatic spice to it, but updated blend has too much cinnamon and vanilla in it and tastes generic.
I've tasted many English Breakfast Teas, and this one is by far my favorite. It's malty and flavorful, and tastes rich with the addition of milk and sweetener.
I like to blend this decaf tea with my morning English Breakfast tea, or drink it in the afternoon on its own. It's not as strong tasting as I would like it to be, so I do tend to use more than a teaspoon per cup.
This is a delicious and rich tasting tea! It is very satisfying with a little sweetener added, either hot or iced.
love the strong mint flavor. The tea is mild and smoothe
strong bold spicy flavors
My favorite tea! I drink it as a dessert with honey. Slightly sweet without honey but not overpowering. It's light enough to drink even in warm weather. Have given it as gifts many times and now have friends ordering it! Sorry to read that the above poster had trouble with her cannister. I have never had a problem with the cannisters - they have always had a nice tight seal. I like this tea so much I buy it by the pound!
The English Breakfast tea is one of the best I've ever had. I normally buy the pyramid infuser box, but I feel the loose tea gives the ultimate best flavor! So I was excited to get a canister of it. I was mighty disappointed that the lid on the canister fits so very loosely! There is no way I could dump the tea leaves into the canister and have it seal properly until the tea is used up. Plus, I store the canisters on their sides in my "tea drawer"....nope, can't do it with these. I am going to have to keep the tea in the plastic bag insert inside the canister, and deal with re-sealing the bag each time I use from it. :( Republic of Tea canisters are very nicely tight fitting, but not these from Tea Forte'.
I wrote a review a few weeks ago; not sure why it didn't show up. Would've been nice to see reviews of this limited edition offering before buying, especially because pumpkin-flavored tea can go so, so wrong. Initially I wasn't a fan — it was just overwhelmingly spiced and almost liquor-like, like a man's cologne. The pumpkin was there, but overall the first impression I got was "weird". As in, not a great flavor for tea. However, I think tea oxidizes after opening or something; this isn't the first tin I've had that got better with a little time. Actually, it's the best pumpkin tea I've tried so far, and I'd definitely think about reordering. It's still strong on spice, but comforting and pie-like, and I like how it makes my room smell after brewing. I bet it'd be nice with milk or cream, too.
One of these rare teas that smell great and taste even greater! You have to like sweet tastes, but it so nice to drink it, like a dessert in liquid form. I'm new to teaforte and I love it so much whenever I try a new tea.
