This tea has rapidly become a favourite of mine thanks to its simple yet calming flavour. A bit earthy, yet still crisp and clear, this tea can serve as a companion to a period of relaxation, or partner with a meal in place of other refreshment. Like any green, of course, brewing it in water too hot will turn it from refreshing to bitter, but even its overly steeped flavour has a certain appeal to it. Overall, if all you seek is the taste of green tea and a little bit of serenity along with it, this is an excellent choice to make. I would recommend this tea as a meal companion or a standalone drink, especially ideal for watching the skies on rainy days.
I have purchased the same size sencha tea in the past and I recall the leaves being bigger. They seem to have been chopped up more now. It’s fine. Not positive if I will reorder immediately. I have tried other companies sencha teas but I do prefer the taste of this tea. Just wasn’t positive if the quality has changed or not.
