Mango and ginger. Pineapple and white hibiscus. The tropics in a cup.
1. Heat water to 208˚F.
2. Place tea in cup and pour water over the leaves.
3. Steep for 5-7 minutes.
For loose leaf iced teas, use 3 tsp per 8oz glass and double the steep time.
The sweet smell of mangoes on a warm tropical autumn day is what I picture as the tea is steeping. Inhaling the aromatic mixture of pineapple, mango and spices just makes me feel like I’m in a tropical paradise before even the first sip. Then the pleasure is transferred to that first taste and continues to the last drop.
