I had this tea in a local restaurant and I fell in love with the taste the flavor and the packaging. As soon as I got home I looked for it online and I purchased my first package and I am very happy and I love it. I’ve been recommending this tea to a lot of my friends and clients, thank you keep up the good work
Brewing this tea as suggested (6 - 8oz of 175 degree water, 1tsp leaves, 3 minutes) produces a delicate and honey forward flavor. The site's tasting notes are fairly accurate, omitting 'sweet' in the flavor profile. Jasmine is floral and sweet, which might explain why there's a taste of honey on the tongue. I was a little concerned this tea is scented, and after researching how scented teas are created (by layering the flower and tea leaves together, allowing the tea leaves to absorb the flowers' scent from their natural oils during drying), I have a new appreciation for the process and trust Tea Forte is providing quality leaves. I wouldn't describe the aroma as intensely floral- just simply floral- which might be why some customers are disappointed in this.
i'm a complete tea newb and found out through a tea sub box that i really like green tea so i spent a little while looking for green tea. decided on this one for the value and reviews, and i don't regret it! it's definitely very tasty and keeps me awake in the morning without feeling a crash that sometimes comes from coffee. one word of caution though! brewing this for longer than the recommended 2-3 min (obvious to some but wasnt for me) will make it more bitter
this is my go to Jasmine tea. Its so well balanced, starts my morning right
