This tea has a wonderfully complex flavor, the chocolate notes are subtle but aromatic. Half od my enjoyment is holding the warm cup in my hand and letting the smell just waft over me. I was unsure if this combo would be good, as rose can be difficult to pair with at times (some rose teas are just terrible!), but it turned out to be my favorite from the noir collection. Of the dark teas, this is No. 1 on my list 100%! A tiny bit of sugar also lifts the chocolatey notes to another level and the rose is not overpowering at all, but definitely there. The floral hints are heavenly. I will definitely be making a pearl tea out of this one as well.
The 2 flavors blends together creating a flavor like no other. I feel as if I am walking through a beautiful garden just as the dew is clearing the early morning... I try others tea, but keep returning to chocolate rose. That you Tea Forte for this incredible dessert. If there were a 6 yellow star, I would have selected it. Nana
