The taste of juicy apricot and almond pair for a refreshing infusion.
1. Heat water to 208˚F.
2. Place tea in cup and pour water over the leaves.
3. Steep for 5-7 minutes.
For loose leaf iced teas, use 3 tsp per 8oz glass and double the steep time.
I got this one in one of the sampler sets and it was one of my favorites from that set. I would love to buy a canister of this one. I have signed up to receive an email when it's back, will get it for sure if/when it returns. I wasn't sure what I would think when trying it, because I am generally not a huge fan of apricot, but this one was a pleasant surprise. Very juicy taste and the amaretto just enhanced it. Delicious.
I got this in an herbal sampler and wasn't even expecting to think much of it but turns out it's one of my favorite few. Almond flavoring is one of those ones you can really go overboard with, but this one handles it nicely, delivering an unmistakable and rich flavor hit yet not so much that it overdoes, gets cloying, wears you out or chases you off. The almond component of this tea comes across kind of like the marzipan in a pastry, a bit sweet and just delicious. Yet that's just one component in a composite bouquet. It's such a pleasant and tasty tea that I'll be ordering it by the canister now.
