This delightful tea is so smooth and flavorful. I love it hot or iced. A definite must in your tea collection.!
I think this is one of the best of the bests!
A buttery rich flavor that is truly addictive. I will definitely be reordering this one and have shared it with friends. I expect they will be ordering it themselves.
Delicious way to start or end the day.
Great dessert tea. Tip: use a level teaspoon per cup, use just under boiling water and steep 2.5 minutes. Less tannins, sweeter. Add a splash of milk. Yum.
Funny, but this tea is like drinking perfume. in a good way. As usual, I recommend steeping only 2.5 minutes for a less tannin-taste. You'll then taste the rose leaves and the chocolate. Very good mixed 50-50 with the vanilla black tea or the darjeeling black tea. Cuts the strong tea/choco taste. Yum. Fragrant.
Now this is crucial: this tea only tastes good if tannins are avoided. Use only a teaspoon of tea per cup; use not-yet-simmering water AND steep only 2 minutes. That way the best flavor arises without that horribly bitter tannin taste. This took me several steeps to learn, and now my guests love this tea (before they were taking only one sip and frowning).
This is an excellent choice to take the edge off dessert cravings. Also a nice little treat in the afternoon. Yummmmmm..........
Very Good Tea ! We decided to try this tea out when it was on sale recently. Everyone we have shared it with has liked it, as well.
A favorite as hot tea or iced tea it is delicious.
Really in the top ten of great flavor, but really, I don't think you have any just "good" teas, they're all great!
Of the black teas, this one is not as high on my list as some of the others. It is quite spicy and the toasty flavor is very forward. That said, it is still a wonderful tea.
The Blood Orange Tea is delicious and very fragrant. I will definitely purchase again.
Nice fully body to this tea due to the mix of ingredients.
Love this tea! Even my husband who is a coffee only guy loves this tea. Great as a light refreshing iced tea.
This tea has a similar taste to Earl Grey, but it is lighter and slightly more aromatic. It smells better than it tastes, but it is still delicious. I enjoy it with a splash of milk, although it is not necessary.
if you are looking for bold flavors, this is not the one for you.
This Blood Orange is really special. I have a number of Tea Forte favorites but right now this one is at the top. I think you will love it if you try it!
Everyone has different taste. So, before I start reviewing Noir Blood Orange I think it is important to let you know first off that I am a dark strong coffee/espresso drinker. I am over 50 (by a slim margin) so my taste buds require a bit of a stronger flavor these days. I am also a Tea Forte fanatic, and here is what I mainly have in my cupboard of loose leaf canisters:Herbal:Ginger Plum, African Solstice, Harvest Apple Spice and Orange Pomegranate. Black tea:Sweet Orange Spice, Bombay Chai, Noir Blood Orange. Green teas: Cherry Marzipan. I am not a huge white tea lover (yet). So, you can see I lean towards the bigger flavors of Herbal (for the full fruity/flowery robust flavor that Tea Forte offers in herbals), and strong, rich black teas. I do not love green tea, but know they are good for me, so I tried Cherry Marzipan, and do drink it and enjoy it. do tire of the spicy (cinnamon heavy) black teas, and usually will mix my herbals with my black spicy teas and have really found some wonderful mixtures. African Solstice can be mixed with ANYthing and it brings it up 5 notches in flavor! I was pleased to see, and anxious to try the Noir Series. I bought a sampler set and enjoyed all of them, actually, but the one I decided to continue buying was the Noir Blood Orange. THIS is a full, flavorful, rich tasty tea! I tend to reach for it first, and have been mixing it with my spice teas and herbal teas for just knock-out combos! Orange seems to go with everything I have in my cupboard. If you like or love any of the flavors I listed, or you do tend to like rich, deep flavors in your drinks, then I highly suggest a tin of this wonderful, wonderful black tea. If you like your tea timid, vapid, and one that is shy and reserved, then Noir Blood Orange would probably be too much tea for you! Tea Forte: Please put this one in the pound bag!
The Black Cherry smells like cough medicine, but the taste is fine.
Blood Orange and Black Cherry! These kind of blew my mind...a little. You can taste the subtle notes in the tea. Should be on everyone's must try list
