I have to admit that when I received my box sampler, this tea was the last one I tried. When I was steeping it, it did have a very strong smell, so I was skeptical. I think it is the ginger smell. When I tried it for the first time, it was amazing! You have to like ginger or you will not like this tea. It has a very robust ginger smell and taste. But, the reason I am on the tea forte site is to buy a canister of this, because it is that good! I wanted to read other reviews. I have tried SO many teas over the past 8-10 years, and this one is in my top 3. Love it so much!
What can I say about this product that will help get across how delightful it is. I guess, when I'm looking for the special moment, where I want to just sit and reflect and enjoy something nice and simple in life, this is my go to item. The flavors are magical together.
I got this in the herbal retreat sampler. It sounded interesting but was so unpleasant! It legitimately smelled like Windex or some sort of cleaning product, and I couldn't get that out of my head while I was drinking it. Adding honey made it more bearable but I still wouldn't drink this voluntarily. It seems like this tea is one that you either love or hate.
