This is my favorite apple tea and also my favorite tea from tea forte. I think it taste best when brewed with boiling water and steeped for 5 min. If it's not hot enough it taste like bark, steeping it longer and with boiling water brings out the apple taste a lot more. It's a nice tea to have for night time when you want something sweet and hot but without a bunch of sugar or caffeine.
I first tried this tea as part of an assortment and it quickly became a favorite for ending my day. Just a touch of sweetness with all the lovely warming spices is the perfect combination for winding down into the night, especially in the winter months. I decided to buy the canister so I could have it available all the time and I'm so glad I did!
