About Harvest Apple Spice

Tea Type : Herbal Tea

Tea Forté's Harvest Apple Spice Herb Tea is a bountiful blend of naturally caffeine-free superlative grade South African Rooibos, apple pieces, berries and spices that warm and delight. Rooibos (pronounced ROY-boss) is an Afrikaans word that means red bush. Local indigenous people have long enjoyed it as a fruity, mild-flavored beverage In recent years, rooibos has experienced rapid popularity. Export to the west with the discovery that rooibos has a high antioxidant polyphenol and flavonoid content which can help build the immune system and protect the body from free-radicals that weaken natural defenses.

Rooibos is not a true tea, but a herb. The brew made from the dried Rooibos leaves is therefore a herbal infusion (known as a tisane) rather than a tea, but is widely known as Rooibos tea.

Ingredients and certifications may differ slightly between our pyramid infusers and loose tea canisters for this blend, see package for details.

      Hot Apple Cider

The spices mixed with the apples and berries make this a perfect drink. A student who walked into my office asked if I was drinking hot Apple cider!

      New recipe

I loved Harvest Apple Spice and was frustrated that it was unavailable for a few months. Unfortunately the recipe has changed and it now tastes more like generic tea than the apple-rich flavor I loved.

Great Flavor - Wish they brought back the trio tins

Tastes amazing, but no longer in stock :(. Really wish they'd bring back the trio canister with African Solstice and Mojito Marmalade, though.

      Apple Cider Festival

Harvest Apple Spice tea tastes just like hot apple cider, but without all the extra sugar...great for diabetics! Makes me feel like a kid on a hayride at the farm!!!

      Flavorful and Enjoyable

I like to drink a variety of teas: (black, green, oolong, rooibos and herbal). After trying a few Single Steeps collections and reading reviews, I chose this as my rooibos tea option. I thouroghly enjoy drinking this tea with honey. I will be looking at other rooibos teas to add to my cupboard!

      Apple Spice is Nice!

A great Fall tea, but good for anytime of the year. The spice with the apple flavor is a great combination for a soothing cup in the afternoon.

      Delicious Cold

While this tea is good hot, I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was iced. It brings out the sweetness in the apples and spices.
