I was first introduced to Tea Forte at the Waldorf Orlando in November 2009. After our trip my husband called the hotel and asked what brand they served. He ordered a box of assorted Tea Forte teas to give me for Christmas that year and the next Christmas I received an electric Breville loose tea maker from him. After trying many flavors over the years, I settled on the Blueberry Merlot as my one and only. Still ordering today.
I bought a smaller tin of this tea in a boutique stall in a shopping plaza after tasting a cup at the stall, and fell in love with it! I was surprised, as I usually find herbal tea to be unappealing and even quite bland. This tea has a wonderful full fruity taste, somewhat tart (needs some sugar or honey) which one might not surmise from some of the ingredients (such as sage.) This tea has full-bodied flavor but is delightfully refreshing, I highly recommend it as an evening dessert tea.
