1. Heat water to 208˚F.

I like to drink a variety of teas: (black, green, oolong, rooibos and herbal). After trying a few Single Steeps collections and reading reviews, I chose this award winning herbal tea. It has a very enjoyable blueberry flavor and goes nicely with honey
This year I gifted quality tea to both my daughter's and the Blueberry Merlot was a big hit. My oldest daughter makes tea time a big event with her two young boys and the fact that this tea is so good, and contains no caffeine, dad has joined the affair. She now rations and hides the canister thus I reinforced her supply with yet another purchase.
I don't care for this tea myself, but my husband drinks it every night and just can't be without it (we purchase it by the pound). It is quite tart. Importantly for my husband, this blend doesn't have licorice root (which he can't have because of his blood pressure).
This tea is beautiful. I was drawn in by the name - Blueberry Merlot. I love to have a tea with rosehips and hibiscus so I was sure I would love this tea. On my first try, I knew this tea would be a staple in my pantry. The subtle spice with the tart rosehips and hibiscus is heavenly. The fact that I actually pour merlot over my bowl of frozen blueberries also drew me to this tea. Perhaps I will prepare a cup, let it cool, and pour an ounce or 2 over my frozen blueberry dessert. Um. I may also decide to prepare this tea in a double walled glass cup. It is so visually lovely. At the moment I prepare it in my KATI Steaming Cup - Bleu.
