Rare, exceptional Chung Hao tea, scented with jasmine flowers.
1. Heat water to 175˚F.
2. Place tea in cup and pour water over the leaves.
3. Steep for 2-4 minutes.
For loose leaf iced teas, use 2 tsp per 8oz glass.
This has been my favorite daily morning tea for years, but I have to say my enjoyment has been diminished by the change in packaging to a dark olive green canister which would be suitable for a military MRE pack. I understand the need to economize, but the can texture is suggestive of either a grenade or a reptilian. Plus, sealing the lid with a sticky tape leaves a residue that does not go away. The tea is 5 stars, the canister less than 1 star.
