A hint of vanilla rounds out its blend of flavors, satisfying even the most discerning dessert lovers.

Although its enjoyment in drinkable form dates back to the Tang Dynasty in China, matcha is more commonly known as a form of Japanese tea. In the 12th century, the concept of matcha was brought from China to Japan, where it was served among samurai and members of the elite class for centuries before becoming a drink of the people. Today, matcha is enjoyed all over the world for its beautiful green color and its healthful reputation. Known as a superfood, the ancient green tea powder is packed with even more antioxidants than common green tea, thanks to the consumption of the entire tea leaf.

Chocolate Matcha may be prepared in a variety of ways -- hot or cold, with water or frothed milk. For a truly traditional experience, it may be made and served with a Ceremonial Bowl Set complete with bowl, whisk, and ladle.

      Loved this.

While in South Korea I went to a restaurant where every dish used don’t sort of green tea. I loved getting this to create wonderful green tea ice cream, pancakes and cookies. And of course my favorite Earl Grey tea of which I wouldn’t want to live without.

      Love this Matcha!

I used it to make matcha latte, matcha crepe cake and other desserts. The chocolate flavor really adds an interesting kick in the flavor!

      Not for me

Just personal preference but too earthy for me. Others may really like it but it wasn’t for me.

      Creamy and delicious

I’m new to matcha tea.. I prefer to make with milk for an extra creamy texture. The chocolate helps tame down the matcha.
