Herbal teas, technically speaking, are not true teas as they are not a product of the Camellia sinensis plant. They are properly referred to as "tisanes" or infusions, crafted from dried herbs, flowers, leaves, roots, seeds and fruit. Like tea, herbal infusions have been consumed for centuries as healing tonics to lift the spirit and enhance well-being. Our Herbal blends are hand crafted with artisan care and a vast knowledge of how theantioxidant properties and therapeutic applications ofpure, fresh herbs, flowers, and botanicals, deliver delicious healthful infusions that can delight both mind and body.

I absolutely love the Swiss apple tea. It is so soothing after dinner on a cold snowy night and it has no caffeine so I have no problems falling sleep. I bought several boxes of regular tea bags on sale and I am disappointed that I can't get any more. I really enjoy the apple and cinnamon flavors with a slight touch of chocolate and I drink it with a teaspoon of amber sugar.
I don't know why so many people don't like this either. This is a great tea. Not the best, and certainly not the worst. I love the spicy zing to it. The cardamom and clove really comes through for me and it's delicious and sweet.
I am surprised to see some of the low reviews for this blend. I very much enjoy this tea. It smells like apple, and tastes like apple cinnamon, it is delicious. The fact that it supports skin health is icing on the cake, I love this tea.
I've made herbal iced tea for years in the summer for something to drink but I've never really been a hot tea fan, opting for coffee instead. I picked this up a month and a half or so ago and this is what has been getting me through what has been a month of one cold/flu thing after another. I just went back to the place I initially bought it and was so disappointed to see they no longer have it. I saw "Swiss Apple" and that is mostly what I taste. I suppose in my naivete I also tasted cinnamon but I'm fine with it not being the predominate flavor. Didn't even know the chocolate was supposed to be there but I don't care. This is a good-flavored herbal tea. Now I need to look rooibos up because I have no idea what it means.
The rooibos is super light and airy with no bitterness at all. I enjoy cinnamon but I am afraid that it completely takes this tea over. The apple is slight and the chocolate is barely there. I think the tea needs a bit more balance by adding more apple and chocolate and less cinnamon. I tried it iced with honey, hot with no sugar and hot with cream and honey. I like it best hot with honey and cream because it brings out some of the other flavors a little better. One of the most beautiful things about Teaforte teas is that you can really tell what a quality product they are by the amount of steeps you are able to get. I can get 3 steeps from one little silken infuser! That is amazing to me.
I'm not usually a roobios fan, but I really enjoyed this. The apple and cinnamon flavors are the strongest, and there's the *slightest* hint of chocolate, but honestly I wouldn't have known if it wasn't in the tea description. :) Very satisfying cup of tea, especially in the chilly winter months.
I was honestly surprised to read the first could reviews on this tea. I really enjoy it! If you like apple cider and cinnamon, this is the tea version! Plus out of the skin smart group, and I've tried all of them, this is by far my favorite.
Smells like lysol, tastes like it smells! I love several of your teas but the herbal retreat teas have turned out to not be so promising. I did like the blueberry merlot, but the rest were very hard too swallow.
I was excited to try this tea, the combination of flavors sounded great. However, I have to say that I was missing the chocolate taste. It is a tasty tea, but the dominant flavors are apple & cinnamon, which is not a bad thing...except when you're anticipating a chocolate kick!
one of my favorites... give it a try...
