About Raspberry Ganache

Tea Type : Black Tea

Tea Forté’s Raspberry Ganache is an exceptional black tea blend marrying the juicy sweetness of raspberry with the deep decadence of cocoa and chocolate. This euphoric tea can be sipped as a dessert all on its own, thanks to the luxurious swirl of flavors found on the finest after-dinner menus. The berry note announces itself right up front, followed by the rich depth of cocoa husk, cocoa beans and natural chocolate flavor infused into the finest black tea leaves. With moderate caffeine and no calories, going for seconds is a guiltless indulgence.

Complex and assertive, black tea is the most popular variety of tea in the western hemisphere. Once It undergoes four stages of production -- withering, rolling, oxidation, and drying/firing -- it’s ready for blending with carefully-curated ingredients. Tea Forte’s unique offerings are crafted with balance and pleasure in mind, pairing natural herbs, spices, fruits, flowers and flavors that bring about a sense of comfort, invigoration, and even delight. In this particular blend, hibiscus flowers and elderberry round out the sweetness of the cocoa, chocolate and berry.

When enjoying a cup of Raspberry Ganache, a spoonful of sugar can bring the blend’s level of luxury to new heights, but its chocolate flavor and pieces of raspberry are sweet enough for the tea to be enjoyed on its own. For a truly decadent experience, add a splash of milk.

    Very nice tea

This is a nice tea on it's own, or great as a flavour enhancer when added to loose leaf Earl Grey.

    Good

Flavorful but wouldn’t mind a little more of the chocolate to shine through. Sweetener does make it a hit more pronounced. My daughter enjoys it more this way.

    Dessert without calories

This tea is billed as a combination of raspberry and chocolate and it combines both flavors quite nicely. It's neither overly fruity nor overly sweet. The chocolate notes are dark chocolate, which blends wonderfully with the dark flavors of the tea. All in all, it manages to taste like a good chocolate raspberry liqueur (and not like those awful chocolate cherry cordials that find their way into holiday chocolate boxes) was added to a rich, black tea. I highly approve. It would be the perfect after dinner/dessert tea if not for the fact that it contains caffeine. So, Tea Forte, would it be possible to make a similar blend without caffeine for true after dinner enjoyment?
