Memories of a good pot of tea are from 30 or so years ago. Recently my daughter and grandson have decided they like tea. Tea bags taste like the paper they are wrapped in to us so loose tea is the best choice. We have found that the black teas, orange pekoe grade offer the deepest flavors. So, which tea do we like the best. We shared the trio of black teas and choose the one we like the best. The tea comes in cute little tins which is the best way to store loose tea. How nice. I like the sweet orange spice black tea. I have tried other loose leaf teas from other places and this one seems to be the highest quality with the best flavor.
I got the Sweet Orange Spice in a trio and will definitely be buying the larger tin when it's in stock again. After my first cup, I came here to check the ingredients for sugar because my usual dose of honey is WAY too sweet with this tea despite no sweetener listed. I can't taste any orange, so if that's what you're looking for, you may be disappointed. The cinnamon and cloves are intense, though, like those little round candies that are red and hot but without the burning mouth. It's a great pick me up when I get the afternoon blahs or when my sweet tooth acts up.
