This is just another great black tea in an ever growing list from Tea Forte. The amazing citrusy aroma of this blend just makes me smile with anticipation of the party that is going to happen in my mouth when it hits my taste buds with the first sip. Just a fun tea to make any day a better one!
This really snuck up on me. I don't have very much experience with black tea and none at all with Darjeeling; as I tend to avoid it due to high caffeine content. I bought the Lotus sampler a while back and tried this tea because it had quince in it, which is a flavor I adore. So here's the thing. This tea is fantastic. It's a deep, flavorful tea with that beautiful sweet quince edge. It's not in-your-face strong like a lot of black teas I've tried. I simply had to have a canister after trying a single steep. I regret nothing, and this is now one of my favorite teas.
