How quickly will my order ship?
Orders ship the next business day. Next Day Air orders ship the same business day if placed by 1PM EST, otherwise they ship next business day. For Continental US, please allow 1-3 business days for USPS Priority Mail, and 2-5 business days for UPS Ground. For Alaska & Hawaii, please allow 3-5 days. For US Territories, please allow 6-10 days. For APO/FPO/DPO addresses, transit times will vary 10-15 days depending on the destination. UPS orders are delivered Monday-Friday only. During peak periods (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Mother's Day), please allow 2-3 additional business days for your order to ship. Please refer to the UPS Shipping map for standard US transit times from our warehouse in Indiana.
Charges for Incorrect and Old Addresses
If you make a mistake in entering an address that requires a correction, we'll gladly contact UPS on your behalf. However, UPS charges an $12.90 service fee for intercepting a package already in transit. To prevent this additional charge, please check your shipping address and remove any old addresses from your Tea Forté Account Address Book.
Do you ship outside the U.S. and Canada?
We cannot currently ship outside the U.S. and Canada, but we do have international distributors. Please refer to our list of Global Sites to see if Tea Forté is available in your country. If you are trying to ship Tea Forté to friends or relatives in other countries to have them forward the product to your international destination, please choose PayPal as your payment type (or use an international credit card). Finally, if you are interested in becoming a international Tea Forté distribution partner, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is your Returns Policy?
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your purchase. If for any reason you are not satisfied, Tea Forté will gladly refund your purchase of tea or accessories within 30 days of receipt. For orders placed between Thanksgiving Day and December 25th, we accept returns through January 31st.
How do I return items from my order?
If you have an item that you wish to return, please contact us at email@example.com or 1 (800) 721-1149 to receive a returned merchandise authorization (RMA) number. You MUST contact us prior to returning your products. WE DO NOT ACCEPT RETURNS WITHOUT AN RMA NUMBER. We do not issue credit for items returned without an RMA number. We do not cover the costs of return shipping charges unless due to company error. In order to receive full credit, all returns must be unopened in their original packaging and in resalable condition.
How do I exchange items from my order?
Tea Forté will gladly exchange any unopened product for product of comparable value within 30 days of receipt. You will be responsible for shipping costs to us unless due to company error. You must contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1 (800) 721-1149 for an RMA number. No exchange will be given for items returned without an RMA number.
What is your warranty on accessories?
All Tea Forté accessories carry a limited one year warranty on manufacturer defects. Proof of purchase must be provided documenting purchase is within time-frame to receive replacement. Please retain purchase receipts for your records. For third party products not produced by Tea Forté, please see specific manufacturer warranty (usually located on the product box) for specific terms and conditions. Please retain purchase receipts for your records.
What are your accepted payment methods?
Tea Forté accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, PayPal and Pay with Amazon. Please note, Pay with Amazon is NOT Amazon Prime, it is merely using the payment method from your Amazon account. All transactions are in U.S. Dollars. You may also make payment by personal check, certified check, or money order in U.S. currency only. Can I use pre-paid Gift Cards to pay for my order?
YES. When using a pre-paid Gift Card from VISA, MasterCard or AMEX, be sure to enter the card number in the Credit Card field in Payments. When using prepaid gift cards, the amount on the card must EXCEED the amount of your online order. For example, if you have $50 on a VISA Gift Card, and your order total is $75, your gift card will be declined, because the card doesn't not have enough funds on it to cover the order total. Some stores and websites offer their own Store Gift Cards or Gift Certificates. Those payment types act differently, and maybe more to your expectations. Those cards simply deduct the amount on your card (say $50) off your online order (say $75). You then pay the remaining balance ($25) with a credit card. Our Tea Forté Gift Certificates and Tea Forté E-Gift Cards work this way.
Do you have gift certificates?
YES. Our Gift Certificates are a perfect alternative to trying to guess someone's favorite blend or product. You may print the certificate from our website and deliver in person, or send it via email. Since we do not send a physical certificate or card, there is no shipping charge for Tea Forté Gift Certificates. NOTE: Gift Certificates apply only to the cost of product(s) and associated taxes, they do not apply to shipping charges.
How do I check my Gift Certificate balance?
If you used a portion of your Gift Certificate, your remaining balance will be saved in your Tea Forté account. To check your Gift Certificate balance, sign in to your Tea Forté Account and click on the tab Gift Certificates.
Do you collect sales tax?
Tea Forté is required to collect U.S. sales tax on orders from California, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Wisconsin and Washington. Due to regulations, Tea Forté must charge a Canadian GST/HST rate tax. The rates vary by province, see a list of rates below. This tax only applies to our gift sets and tea accessories:

Do you offer gift wrapping?
We do not currently offer gift wrapping, but we do offer a several gift boxed products. Our green gift boxes are as elegant as any gift solution on the market. Please explore our selection.
Can I ship one order to multiple locations?
If you are looking to send Tea Forté to five or more addresses, we recommend our Corporate Gift Program, and our easy spreadsheet order form. For fewer than five order, we're sorry, but that feature is not yet available. You will have to place a different order for each shipping location.

What are you doing to ensure the quality and safety of Tea Forté products?
The quality and safety of all our tea offerings is our mandate, to ensure that you enjoy only the highest quality and safest teas. All of our teas are naturally produced and undergo stringent quality assurance testing for pesticides and microbial contamination from the garden level to the post-harvest facilities, and through the final production processes and handling.
Tea Forté offers both conventional and organic teas, tea blends, and herbal tisanes to our consumers. All of our teas are rigorously tested for food safety and comply with US and EU regulations. The EU has stricter pesticide standards than the US and it also has test laboratories that detect pesticides at lower levels than US labs. The only way to ensure that teas are pesticide free, whether Camelia sinensis or herbal, is to buy certified organic teas or tisanes. All of Tea Forté organic teas meet both the US and EU standards.
Tea Forté conventional blends, while not organic, undergo strict quality procedures. Washing/cleaning/sorting is one of the early processes for raw agricultural products. Each ingredient (tea, herbs, dried fruits, flowers, spices and other plant ingredients have to be processed and tested according to good manufacturing practices before blending and packing to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the product. All tea ingredients are tested before blending and packaging. All quality, food safety and toxicological safety are ensured in compliance with EU and US pesticide regulations.
Tea Forté offers a wide selection of both organic and conventional teas and herbal tisanes with or without flavoring. We use natural flavoring in some of our blends to create a unique taste experience. Flavored teas, both conventional and organic, are safe, clean and of as high a quality as unflavored teas. Tea Forté flavored teas are free from allergens and GMOs.
All of Tea Forté products are GMO free. This includes the material for our tea infuser, the ingredients in the teas and the natural flavors.
Tea Forté pyramid infusers are made from FDA approved, food safe, recyclable PET silken mesh fibers and hand-crafted into pyramid shape without the use of any chemicals or adhesives. Our pyramid is not made from PLA (poly lactic acid), a derivative of corn. Additionally our infuser material does not contain gluten, GMOs, corn nor any of the eight FDA recognized allergens (tree nuts, peanuts, milk, eggs, fish, crustacean shellfish, wheat or soybeans). Our infuser material has been tested by an accredited third party independent lab for food safety. Tea Forté’s signature pyramid is inert (does not react with boiling water), does not contain heat sealing adhesives and is designed to allow free flow of water for maximum tea infusion.
Is there an expiration date on tea?
Tea does not have an expiration date, but it can start to lose freshness over time. At Tea Forté we label all of our products with a "best by" date to ensure that you experience the best we have to offer.
We do recommend storing your tea in a dry, cool, dark space. Tea needs to be kept away from heat, light, air, and moisture to ensure its freshness. Do not store your teas in the freezer or refrigerator.
Is your tea certified Organic or Fair Trade?
Our production facility is certified organic by CERES GmbH, a USDA accredited certification agent. This is an important step in our process of developing certified organic teas.
Is your tea certified Kosher?
Many of our teas, over 50 and growing, are certified Kosher by KOF-K. If you are looking to shop exclusively for kosher certified teas, start by visiting our Kosher Certified tea page. Is your tea Gluten Free?
Yes, all of our teas are Gluten Free with one exception, our newly created Rum Raisin Biscotti.

We're sorry, not at this time. Our infusers are not packaged for individual resale or self-assortment. In order to bring you the freshest possible tea and to ensure the tea is labeled correctly for allergies and FDA requirements, we are unable to repackage infusers according to customer orders. We do expect to have this option available sometime in 2016, so stay tuned!
