formosa oolong
Steep for 2-4 minutes, 195°F
For loose leaf iced tea, use 2 tsp per 8oz glass.
Studies done on the health benefits of oolong teas are not as numerous and can be more confusing than those done on black, green or white teas. The nature of oolong teas, being so diverse, makes grouping them for study quite difficult.
Our Formosa Oolong is oxidized roughly halfway to black and therefore shares the health benefits of both green and black teas. Our Silk Oolong is only about one-eighth oxidized so the health benefits would more approximate those of a green tea.
Formosa Oolong
I love this Oolong tea! I have tried many different types of Oolongs at stores and restaurants but no tea compares to Tea Forte's Formosa Oolong! It is soothing and goes perfect with any meal. I recommend this tea if you enjoy any other types of Oolong's!

Our Kosher teas are certified by KOF-K. You may download a printable certificate. In general, tea that isn’t pure tea (because it contains other ingredients) is difficult or impossible to certify as Kosher, though we strive to certify every blend.
The caffeine level in a cup of tea can vary by tea type, steeping practices and even the particular tea harvest. We use the following designations as guidelines for the caffeine levels of our teas:
Robust, high caffeine teas; 50-100mg
Lower caffeine teas with shorter steeping times; 30-50mg
Tea/herbal blends with less than 30mg
Decaf tea retains a tiny amount of caffeine
Herbal teas are 100% caffeine free
These steeping guidelines produce the best results for our palates. Use them as a guideline, but you may certainly experiment and find the best results for yours.
