Chamomile is a relative of ragweed. Those with ragweed pollen allergies may want to avoid drinking it.
Herbal teas, technically speaking, are not true teas as they are not a product of the Camellia sinensis plant. They are properly referred to as "tisanes" or infusions, crafted from dried herbs, flowers, leaves, roots, seeds and fruit. Like tea, herbal infusions have been consumed for centuries as healing tonics to lift the spirit and enhance well-being. Our Herbal blends are hand crafted with artisan care and a vast knowledge of how theantioxidant properties and therapeutic applications ofpure, fresh herbs, flowers, and botanicals, deliver delicious healthful infusions that can delight both mind and body.

This tea was outstanding and by far the BEST Chamomile tea that I have had! I love drinking Chamomile tea before bed to help myself relax and unwind. I have to say after I drank this tea, I had one of the BEST nights of sleep I have ever had! My head literally hit the pillow and I didn't wake up until my alarm went off the next morning and I felt so refreshed too! Unfortunately I only had one bag of this tea, as I had gotten it in the Serenity tin. However I just placed an order for some more, in the biodegradable tea bags! Thank you Tea Forte for this wonderful bedtime tea! I would love to see a whole collection of teas geared towards helping to unwind before bed!

Definately NOT anything like Chamomile Tisane
There is nothing special about this blend of tea. I LOVED Chamomile Tisane, when the flavor was discontinued, I was extremely disappointed but thought I would give the Citron a shot. No good. If it isn't broken... it shouldn't be fixed. Bring back the Tisane!

I had recieved my first gift box recently and I am now in love. Just to unwrap the beautifully green box with satin ribbon, to open the teas and find the most heavenly aroma come from it was a delight. My first choice, for I was stressing at the time, was the Chamomile Citron and it litterly helped me to relax; along with symphonic Moonlight Sonata...set everything just right. If you want to give a gift to one that has alot of tension in there life; then this would be a perfect gift...just like a warm quilt or hug. Gwendolyn

Very smooth and relaxing
This was my first introduction to Teaforte teas. It is very smooth on the palate with just the right hint of lemongrass and licorice root. A step up in tase from a similar "Calm" blend offered by another brand. With every sip, I feel more stress exiting my mind and body. My only regret is there are only six whole leaf silken tea infusers in the box I received as a gift and now I am down to five.

Best Tea I've Ever Had
I can honestly say this was the best most enjoyed cup of (herbal) tea I've ever had! The flavor was very mellow and had a hint of sweetness to it, was wonderful! Enjoyed it so much I am going to buy the tin of loose leaves so I can have it everyday! I only wish there was a location in London, I happend to find it at the Chapters book store in our area.

I've never tasted tea so good and I thought I was an experienced sipper. The tea was so smooth and mildly fruity that I couldn't imagine a better blend for me. It is the first Tea Forte tea I've ever tried so I hope this is a good indication of the rest of the products. I got 3 free samples with my KATI tea brewing system and chose this one first assuming I would mess up the first cup and save my favorite samples for when I perfect my brewing. It was perfect with the first cup!

Sigh!!!! I didn't even know I was a little stressed until I realized I started relaxing just after a few sips of this tea. Any tea that can relax me after a busy day at work and dealing with 3 active boys deserves a permanent spot in my house. This tea will be a regular in my home for now on.

"Sweet with a lovely citrus finish"
"This is perhaps one of the most delicate chamomiles I’ve ever had. It is quite mild compared to other ones I’ve tried. It is a very pleasant tea to drink. The taste is sweet with a lovely citrus finish! The orange peel compliments the sweetness of the chamomile quite well. The vanilla in this tea lingers in the background and adds quite a nice finish. Overall, the taste is very smooth."

Best Chamomile tea I have tried
A relative gave your tea sampler for Christmas and I procrastinated on trying the chamomile tisane because I have never yet liked any chamomile tea. I always found the tea too bitter or too bland. Your tea is the best chamomile blend I have ever tried. This is one time I saved the best for last. :)

A lovely tea - like a warm summer breeze floating over the water and through the tall grass.

The caffeine level in a cup of tea can vary by tea type, steeping practices and even the particular tea harvest. We use the following designations as guidelines for the caffeine levels of our teas:
Robust, high caffeine teas; 50-100mg
Lower caffeine teas with shorter steeping times; 30-50mg
Tea/herbal blends with less than 30mg
Decaf tea retains a tiny amount of caffeine
Herbal teas are 100% caffeine free
These steeping guidelines produce the best results for our palates. Use them as a guideline, but you may certainly experiment and find the best results for yours.
