african solstice
Unlike tea, rooibos never grows bitter from steeping. Steep as long as you like.
Starting in the mid-20th century, rooibos consumption became very widespread in South Africa, spurred in part by beliefs that it can help with colic in babies. Generally consumed with milk and sugar in South Africa, rooibos has rapidly attained popularity in Europe and North America over the past decade or two, where it is often drunk without any additions.
Herbalists and health food stores commonly promote rooibos as having anti-allergic and anti-spasmodic properties.
Absolutely delicious
I received this as a present with the Kati infuser (which I also love!) and I cannot stop drinking it. It is simply one of the tastiest teas I have ever had and currently my favorite.

Best tea ever
I think the African Solstice is the best tea I've ever tasted. I received a variety pack of Tea Forte teas as a gift and when I tried the solstice, I was blown away!

Delicious!
I first tasted the African Solstice at Framer's Touch, in Forest Grove, Oregon. After I headed home the taste lingered in my mouth. I couldn't get the tea out of my mind. I have since gone back and purchased two boxes. It is now my very favorite tea! And ... I am not a big tea fan but the African Solstice is now at the top of my list! It has just the right amount of everything.

delicious
I came across the Tea Forte brand at a local specialty store. I purchased a box with several different teas, and fell in love with the African Solstice herbal tea. I have been drinking tea since I was a small child and am an aficionado. I have a cabinet full of teas of every imaginable flavor. Right now, I have been drinking African Solstice everyday and the other teas are languishing behind closed doors. Bravo to Tea Forte.

Excellent! Wondeful even without sugar
I've been a fan of Tea Forte's blends for about a year, but only recently tried African Solstice. I wish I hadn't waited so long. It's now my favorite. The aroma is amazing and the flavor is so wonderful, you really don't need to add a thing. I usually brew it in a large pot and use it for iced tea. If I do that, I add just a tad bit of natural sugar. But if I drink it hot, I don't add a thing. It's so tasty just as it is. I hope Tea Forte never stops offering this blend.

"The scent of the tea is absolutely divine!"
"African Solstice from Tea Forté brings the best of those favorite flavors to life. The scent of the tea is absolutely divine! It smells like fresh, sun-ripened berries, with just a whisper of vanilla."

One Sip and I Was Hooked
In a little specilaty shop last weekend, I was given a sample of this tea. I'm a die-hard coffee drinker, but always wished I could find a tea I really enjoyed for the benefits of the antioxident and health properties (although I do confess to being a Chai Latte addict which is not even close to being a healthy habit), and this one is it! I purchased a large box of the silk infusions that day, and made my first visit to the website today. I'm looking forward to enjoying this delicious tea often, and am so happy to have discovered tea forte`!

It's great even without sugar
I prefer caffeinated teas, but this was perfect for when I was nursing and avoiding caffeine. I loved the taste of vanilla. It's great even without sugar.

The caffeine level in a cup of tea can vary by tea type, steeping practices and even the particular tea harvest. We use the following designations as guidelines for the caffeine levels of our teas:
Robust, high caffeine teas; 50-100mg
Lower caffeine teas with shorter steeping times; 30-50mg
Tea/herbal blends with less than 30mg
Decaf tea retains a tiny amount of caffeine
Herbal teas are 100% caffeine free
These steeping guidelines produce the best results for our palates. Use them as a guideline, but you may certainly experiment and find the best results for yours.
