african solstice
Unlike tea, rooibos never grows bitter from steeping. Steep as long as you like.
Starting in the mid-20th century, rooibos consumption became very widespread in South Africa, spurred in part by beliefs that it can help with colic in babies. Generally consumed with milk and sugar in South Africa, rooibos has rapidly attained popularity in Europe and North America over the past decade or two, where it is often drunk without any additions.
Herbalists and health food stores commonly promote rooibos as having anti-allergic and anti-spasmodic properties.
"The scent of the tea is absolutely divine!"
"African Solstice from Tea Forté brings the best of those favorite flavors to life. The scent of the tea is absolutely divine! It smells like fresh, sun-ripened berries, with just a whisper of vanilla."

One Sip and I Was Hooked
In a little specilaty shop last weekend, I was given a sample of this tea. I'm a die-hard coffee drinker, but always wished I could find a tea I really enjoyed for the benefits of the antioxident and health properties (although I do confess to being a Chai Latte addict which is not even close to being a healthy habit), and this one is it! I purchased a large box of the silk infusions that day, and made my first visit to the website today. I'm looking forward to enjoying this delicious tea often, and am so happy to have discovered tea forte`!

It's great even without sugar
I prefer caffeinated teas, but this was perfect for when I was nursing and avoiding caffeine. I loved the taste of vanilla. It's great even without sugar.

Our Kosher teas are certified by KOF-K. You may download a printable certificate. In general, tea that isn’t pure tea (because it contains other ingredients) is difficult or impossible to certify as Kosher, though we strive to certify every blend.
The caffeine level in a cup of tea can vary by tea type, steeping practices and even the particular tea harvest. We use the following designations as guidelines for the caffeine levels of our teas:
Robust, high caffeine teas; 50-100mg
Lower caffeine teas with shorter steeping times; 30-50mg
Tea/herbal blends with less than 30mg
Decaf tea retains a tiny amount of caffeine
Herbal teas are 100% caffeine free
These steeping guidelines produce the best results for our palates. Use them as a guideline, but you may certainly experiment and find the best results for yours.
