It has been a few short years since I set up a homemade booth at my first show in New York and introduced my precious, handmade tea infusers. Since then, life has been a whirlwind of growth and creativity.

My original vision was modest, just to reinvent the entire tea ceremony, a centuries old tradition! I wanted to create a total sensory and emotional experience that was relevant to life today. I considered taste, smell, touch and, of course, visual presentation. I wanted to create a simple ceremony, a special moment to enjoy with family, friends or just by myself. 

I didn't know what to expect at that first show. I unwrapped these sculptural works of art, filled with fresh picked teas, herbs and flowers, and placed them on their little green ceramic "stages". They were my babies, and only I knew that I loved them. The response was overwhelming, almost magical. People from all walks of life, and from all corners of the world, felt the same connection and excitement for Tea Forté.

Tea Forté has grown quite a bit since that day. We are now sold at top retailers across the country and served at many of the finest resorts, hotels and spas worldwide.

Our unique Silken-Tea-Infusers are individually hand crafted, and provide the world's finest method to brew a cup of tea. The open weave of the fabric allows the water to flow freely around the teas, allowing the tea leaves to unfurl and the flavors to mingle in the large open form of the infuser. We use only exquisite whole-leaf teas and rough cut herbs and our unique design allows the subtle flavors of these fine teas to infuse into the water. It's like brewing a pot of tea in your cup!

Unwrap the protective cover and stand the infuser in your cup. Pour boiling water in and exquisite tea starts to brew, the infuser maintains its elegant form, and the upward lifted leaf and cotton stem creates a handle. A feast for all the senses, Tea Forté is quite possibly the finest, most elegant cup of tea of all time.
